I am from the Daniel Parker line of Anderson County.
I was looking at a book in the Library the other day that had a picture of John Parker and told that he was at the Courthouse at Appomattox durng Lee's surrender and that he was collecting up the swords or guns of the Confederate soldiers (can't remember which) for surrender. He would have been from the Daniel Parker line of Anderson County.
You may contact me back and I will go back and make copies or check again for other records. Oh I live in Palestine, Texas county seat for Anderson County.
Nancy
