I'm looking for any information on the family of my GGGreatgrandparents. Thomas Llewelyn Thomas who married his first wife Anne Lewis in Wales. Possible both were born in Glamorganshire, South Wales. Thomas father name is John Thomas and his mother name Cecylia of Wales.
Thomas and Anne had four children.
Margaret "Maggie" Thomas, married to Lewis Caro Ferguson.
John Thomas born January 15, 1857, never married.
Samuel Evans Thomas born February 22, 1861, married to Arta Missa Black.
Rachael Thomas born June 1864, married to Calvin Cassell Castle.
Thomas married his second wife, Hannah about 1877. They had two children.
Archie D. Thomas born October 1877.
Thomas Llewelyn Thomas, Jr. born about October 1879 on board the ship coming to America from Wales, he married Theresa Chippendale.
I would like to find out what ship the family were on and where they landed in United States. Why did they choose Palestine, Anderson County, Texas for their knew home?
Any help would be appreciated on this line. Thanks.
