Adolfus Pyle, b 1886 in Upshur Co., son of Rufus Rastsus Pyle and Harriet Barton Pyle, married Martha "Mattie" Goode, b 1887, dau. of Jones Goode and Ada Walter Goode.
"Dolf" and "Mattie" moved to Anderson Co., TX by the 1920 census. He was employed as a delivery man for some store there.
Their children included:
Thomas Burt Pyle, b ??
Elmer Pyle, b 1908
Donald Pyle, b 1905-d 1966
Berford Pyle, b 1912
