Henry James TWOMBLY was born in either 1851 or 1853 in County Cork, Ireland. He came to DeKalb County, IL, and married on 21 Apr 1885 to Hannah Agnes CARROLL whose family had arrived from Ireland before the 1860s. Henry and Hannah had 9 children: John Francis "Jack" (mar HILL), Joseph (mar CONLIN), Sanford (mar CONLIN), Henry James, Jr (mar ___ ), William Roy (mar Sanna ___ ), Archibald "Archie" (mar/1 WEAVER, and mar/2 Verna ___ ), Leonard G. "Doc" (mar HORTON), Irene (mar ORGAN), and Mary (d young). Henry died 24 Jun 1930 in DeKalb Co, IL, and is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in DeKalb.
