Daniel, 2nd son of Samuel (2) and Sarah (Wentworth) Twombley, settled in Berwick, Maine, where his descendants . . . married Nov 6, 1784 to Mary, dau. of Deacon Thomas and Mary (Goodwin) Hodsgon. She was baptized . . .
mother of Rufus K, Samuel, Mary J., David, and James (Note: Berwick,York,Maine). Maine was just starting to be developed about this time period through 1800.
