Kathy, it has been a very long time since I corresponded with you.

I finally have proof that William B. Twitty is the son of Thomas Twitty and Elizabeth Baskin Twitty Hammond. You may have found it by now. Elizabeth Hammond is listed in the 1880 Lancaster County Census in the household with William B.Twitty and his family as his mother. I still have found nothing on the other children. I guess they fell off the face of the earth.

I found them in Enumeration District 82, page 342B in Pleasant Hill, Lancaster County, SC. Elizabeth is 71 years of age.

I did a little looking elsewhere and found that William B. was born on September 19, 1826 and died March 05, 1901.I have a tiny bit more information.

If you haven't found it, I hope this helps.

Ruth
