I have a pewter plate with the letters MT impressed on the rim. My mother says the plate has been handed down since at least Mary Twitchell born 1755 to Joseph and Deborah.
Mom says it had the Mark of "London" and "1650" on the back and that she thought it belonged to Mary Twitchell b 1667, daughter of Benjamin. Unfortunately, only part of the London is still visible. Anyone know anything about either of these two ladies?
