Dear Debbie,
Don't know what happened, I had started a letter, but it vanished. Sorry for not answering you sooner, I have just managed to get back into the site, having lost my login name and password, so have started again.
I do have a Clara Twigg, she was the second daughter of Joseph Twigg and Mary Ann nee Cooke, and was born in 1858, and married Robert William Smith in 1876.
I know there was another Clara whose father was James Twigg, but don't know if there is any connection, I like to think so, as both James and Joseph wee Coachmen, but so far have not been able to find Joseph on the 1841 census which would be the lead.
Anyway if you think the Clara's are the same I would be pleased to hear from you.
My email address is [email protected]
