Actually, we haven't got too far with the Twigg branch (!!!), but Kirton seems to be some distance from Legbourne (which is just to the south of Louth. You can find these places at the web site www.multimap.co.uk
At the moment we don't have any connection to you, but you are the only other Twiggs that I have come across in Lincolnshire apart from those at legbourne. In case you are interested, there is still a family at Legbourne with the name Twigg, but they don't seem to be too interested in Geneology.
In our family we have an Anne Twigg who married a James Walker in the late 18th Century at Legbourne. Our web site at
