There is no specific Tweedy DNA Project, but I am letting all Tweedys test through the Ulster DNA Project of which I am the Director. The address is:

Just follow the links on that site. We use the 37 or better yet, the 67 marker Paternal test.

I've already found out there are at least two non related sources for the surname Tweedy. One is Norse/Norman and the other Celtic. As we get more Tweedys to test wi can tell much about these families, we can find their point of origin and discover which Tweedy families are related, etc.
