Lucy A. Brown / Cloyd / Tweedy m. John Bland

I have seen listings for John Bland being married to Lucy Brown, Lucy Cloyd and Lucy Tweedy.

After looking closely at the links given for all of these, I think maybe Lucy A. Brown and Lucy A. Cloyd are one and the same.
========================================================(this is a listing from Rootsweb)
John Bland was born ABT. 1832 in KY. He married Lucy A
Brown 4 DEC 1863 in Monroe Co, KY, daughter of John Brown and Sarah unknown. She was born ABT. 1843 in KY.

Child of John Bland and Lucy A Brown is: 2 i. William
Bland was born ABT. 1869 in Monroe Co, KY.
In the 1870 Monroe Co., KY census John Bland (27yrs old)is with Lucy A.(25/26yrs old) and William (1yr) and Filmore Cloyd (11yrs).
This leads me to the Cloyd Family in 1860 Monroe Co. Census to figure out why Fillmore is with the Blands.
(this listing is from Individual Record FamilySearch™ Ancestral File v4.19)

Lucy CLOYD (AFN: HQWS-19) Pedigree
Sex: F Family
Birth: Mar 1853 (there is no sign of a Lucy this age in the 1860 census)
, Tompkinsville, Monroe, Kentucky
Father: David CLOYD (AFN: HQWR-Z0) Family
Mother: Mary BROWN (AFN: HQWS-04)
Spouse: John BLAND (AFN: HQWS-D6) Family

There I find David Cloyd (can't read age) with Mary (40/44Yrs old)and Lucy (17/19yrs old) W.C. (16yrs) John (5yrs)and Filmore (3yrs).
Then I find Mary is a Brown. Daughter of John and Sarah Brown.
In the 1850 Monroe Co., KY census John Brown and Sarah have a large family, but most interesting is their daughter Mary (30yrs) and Lucy (8 yrs) and William (6yrs).
When Mary married David Cloyd she apparently took the two youngest children ( Lucy and William )with her. Were they her children from a previous marriage? Tweedy? Or maybe her parents were too old to care for them?
And when Lucy Brown/Cloyd married John Bland she apparently took Filmore Cloyd with her. What happened to David,Mary and John?
This leads me to the 1910 and 1920 Census Henderson Co., KY where Lucy Bland is living with her brother
William C.Tweedy. William and Lucy are the same ages as William and Lucy Brown.
Could it be that Lucy Brown is Lucy Cloyd and that William Tweedy kept his birth name while Lucy, being married, it didn't matter to her what maiden name she was married with or does anyone have any verifiable information on these three Lucys? Either proving or disproving this rather confusing theory I have?
I know that I seem to be grasping at straws but sometimes we have to when running into brick walls!!

Any help with this confusion would be greatly appreciated.
