HI,
I'M RESEARCHING MY TWEED ANCESTORS. I HAVE A MATILDA TWEED(DIED 1917) WHO WAS THE SISTER OF ROBERT M. TWEED(MY ANCESTOR), WHOSE FATHER AND MOTHER WERE THOMAS AND SARAH (MAGILL)TWEED FROM ANTRIM COUNTY, IRELAND. I'M WONDERING IF THIS MATILDA COULD HAVE BEEN NAMED FOR YOUR MATILDA. IF THIS HELPS YOU, LET ME KNOW AND I'LL SEND WHAT I HAVE TO YOU. I HAVEN'T HAD MUCH LUCK FINDING ANYTHING BEFORE THOMAS TWEED IN IRELAND. HE DIED IN IRELAND IN 1846. WHAT DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR MATILDA?
TOM PARSONS
