I'm new to this site and wanted to let you all know that quit a bit of the tutwiler information in located in the public library in Rockingham, virginia. I was fortunate to find this wonderful book written by E.C. Tutwiler. The book was donated on June 22,1977 He and his wife traveled to Europe and traced back as far as 1650 starting with Hans(John)Duttweiler and Verena Hirt Duttweiler from Oberweningen, Switzerland.

I was able to talk to Eulcid's wife after he pasted away and she informed me it was his deep passion to get all the information on the Tutwiler family he could. She said the spent days on the road here and abroad traveling and searching cemeteries and courthouse records.

I know when I found the book in the library it helped close more then 10 years of dead end searchs that I personally compiled.

I just wanted to pass this off to anyone searching that this might be as helpful to you as it was to me.

Mike Tutwiler
