Hi Andy
Afraid I'm no help - The Tutton family I have is - my husband's ancestor, Richard Thomas was born in Bridgwater in 1814 - his mother was Thais Tutton - don't know if Thais is a shortened form of something or a 'real' name. Her father, name unknown, was a clock maker and specialised in making grandfather's clocks. He is buried under the clock tower at St Mary's church, Bridgwater. That's all I know!
