My Father's family is from Edward, N.C. a small bus stop between Washington, N.C. and Aurora, NC.

In my search for our family lines I came across information about Zachariah Tuten.
His will was probated on December 16, 1826. His will is recorded in Will Book No. 3, pgs. 84-86 in the county Court Clerks Office of Limestone County Alabama.
In it he mentions most of his children: Zachariah Jr. got lands and tenaments, most of the livestock. Other children mentioned are Ally, Elizabeth, Obed, Kesiak, Laviney, and Mary.
Zachariah Jr. was born in S.C. between 1790 and 1800 in S.C., probably Beaufort. He married a Mary who was born in 1808 in TN. They were married in lawrence Co. TN.
They had eight children.
This information was compiled by Willis Tuten, R#1 Box 510 Athens, Al and shared with my daughter by a kind lady in Limestone AL whose name I don't have at the moment.
