The MAJOR problem I have in researching this branch is that they spell the names different and use "nicknames" a LOT! There is no doubt that Absolem is related to Zachariah Tuten b.1766 son of William Hall Tuten b.1735 Wedmore Sommersetshire England. But how they are related is yet to be determined.

I can assure you that the Tenn Tuten's are from North/South Carolina like the rest of us and the above connection is very plausible and likely.

Zachariah Tuten and my GG grandfather William Pearson Tuten were brothers in my database. We therefore are very likely cousins!

Zachariah Sr. used the names Zachie or Zack or Obed or Obediah..and even used Wiley....although there are children named these names too. Very confusing.
