The name Wiley is very common dating back to South Carolina Zachariah Tuten who called himself Wiley and perhaps named two sons Wiley. He migrated to North Carolina and Tennessee. John Wiley Tuten,who was believed to have died in a confederate prison camp, migrated to Washington State in 1864. There was also a mentally impaired Wiley Tuten the grandson of Zachariah.
