Linda, I'm just a beginner and I noticed that you mentioned an Absolum Greene Tuten. My GGG-Grandfather is an Absolum Green Tuten that was born abt. 1785 and was married to Charity Mixon (or Mixson). I don't have a death date for him. I'm wondering if this is the same Absolum Greene Tuten. All the information I have on my Tuten line is from what I've dug out of unorganized papers from parents and grandparents. I'm trying to piece everything together. I've hit a dead-end with Absolum Green Tuten. In some of the info I have it says that Absolum was the brother of Redding Cannon Tuten. It says that Absolum moved to Furman, Beaufort Co., SC in 1800 but it doesn't say from where. I'm wondering if my Absolum and Redding are two of the three Tuten brothers who came over on a ship from England and then scattered to NC, SC and GA. I really would love to know any information you may have regarding Absolum.
