Dear Linda,

Thank you very much for the information,
as you may know in the past centuries there where so many merchants travelling.
Turkey or OTTOMAN EMPIRE had so many connections thet where good sailors, I will also check and when I find something I will contact you, Me "CEM TUTEN" really would like to know from where we belong so I can forward
information to my soon.

personal genealogy information:
What I know that my GGG grandfather was from kaukasus (russia)and that he had a few brothers, but nothing is left as information
my GG grandfather was called "Ali riza TUTEN"
in that period they where not using surnames
he was called "Ali Riza with the carnation flower" He was a great gentlemen and living in Kayseri-Turkey he had 2 brothers that left him one moved in the states and the other whent to France. Ali Riza moved later to Istanbul - Yalova a sea side town. Where still you could see "TUTEN VILLA" now is a buiding still with the same name "TUTEN".

He had different wifes one was from the Ottoman Empire an important person. from which my Grand father, what I know other 2 wifes these from russia.
My father remembers him as a very important
person. he was the owner of the first Mercedes in Turkey. For 20 years we didn't heard from France, My father is a man who was after our genealogy trying to put together some information, he received an important information from france and whent to Calais - France where he found the cementery where our Grandfather's brother was. And later found his son, that changed his surname to TUTEM.
after 20 years exactly last year I found him
in Calais and talked with him by phone.
Certainly 20 years to many changes happened,
He lost his wife and childrens left him alone. I don't to be boring with all this.
I only wanted to give you some information
about my part and past that I know. This pushed me to make a research on TUTEN genealogy.

My best Regards,
Cem TUTEN
