I think that you are right about the Tuten family be from England. My cousin Elizabeth told me about couple weeks ago that she heard that the Tuten family came to the United States from England. And that there were three brothers. They came on a ship from England. One when to NC, another went to SC, and anothe brother went to GA. I am descended from the North Carolina brance of the family. My GGGGGG-grandfather was Thomas Tuten who married Sarah Kennedy.
