I spoke with Gary Tussey of St. Francisville, Illinois a week ago and he confirms that the tussey family is of french descent. He was not aware of a chris Tussey or your search for the family in the St. francisville area.
I am currently writing a corporate history of St. Francisville and am interested in your theory that recruiting took place in this area. Will you respond as to your connection to the family there and where you may have developed your idea of Clark and his doings in town. thank you very much for getting back to me on this matter.
