Hi Maria,
I don't know whether you eventually traced John and Frances's children (its an old posting) but if not I can help as they were my 5x greatgrandparents. They had 10 children; William (who was my ancester) born in Rothwell in 1779, Charlotte (1781), Joseph (1783),Hannah (1785), John (1787),Mathias (1790),Sarah (1792),Mahala, (1795), Elizabeth (1797) and George (1800).William was a miner and he lived well into his 80's (he died 24th January 1864).He had 11 daughters with his first wife, Elizabeth (no sons). After his wife died he remarried (Mary Prince)but they had no more children. His fourth daughter Rachel was my 3x greatgrandmother and she married Robert Wilson, a miner from Glasshoughton.Rachel's sister Mahala (must be a family name) married George Prince and they had a pretty big family.Rachel and Mahala both lived in Allerton Bywater.I have the names of William's daughters
if they are of interest to you.I think Frances Hewitt's parents were William and Hannah/Ann Lund and I have names of who I think are her brothers and sisters but these you would definitely have to cross check.
