My immigrant ancestor was Nelson Como (Narcisse Comeau?), born in Canada abt. 1812; first married to Marinda Holmes in Canada (she died abt. 1847) and then to Marinda Turrell, from whom I descend. From family records we have a birth date for Marinda of Nov. 29, 1834, in Upper Canada. She married Nelson Oct. 17, 1854 in Ogdensburg, NY, my hometown.
