Note: At the Court house in Philadelphia are these records: Saturday , November 3 1750 Imported on the "good Ship Brotherhood" Jacob Showalter and children listed as over 14 was listed" Jacob Showalter Jr." There have been many accounts of the Showalter's some say John was the father of Henry Sr, some say no record of Jacob Jr exists. But he was on the ship list of the "Good Brotherhood" the information I Lee Uzzell have obtained it is evident that Jacob Showalter Jr is the father of Henry Showalter Sr. Others have made mistakes and I could also. records indicate that Jacob was the father of Henry Sr and Jacob Jr married Elizabeth Funk according to the Funk book.
