Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My grandfather, Harvey Theodore Turnquist, was born in Crystal City, Missouri, to John and Ida May (Sweet) Turnquist. John was a carpenter who immigrated to the U. S. from Sweden. He died in 1920, and was born around 1865. My grandfather, once a year, would travel to Wisconsin to visit relatives on the Turnquist side, but I never met them nor did I record or remember their names. If you can find a connection to him, I would be very interested.
