John Morgan Turnipseed, Pearl Harbor Casualty

Have been doing some research on footnote.com & found 2 Turnipseeds who served at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese bombed it during WW2. One, John Morgan Turnipseed, served onboard the USS Arizona & died on that fateful day in December as a result of the attack. The other, Abner Chappell Turnipseed was stationed at Pearl Harbor from 1938-1945 & luckily survived the attack. I know how Abner relates to our family, but not John. John's mother is listed as Marie/Mary Adda - Hill & he was from Houston, Perry Co., AR according to the casualty lists I have seen. His name is also on the wall of the Arizona Memorial in Hawaii. However, when I search the census' for Houston, Perry Co., AR, I cannot find him with his family or anywhere in AR. There is a David A & Mary A - Hill living in Houston, Perry Co., AR from 1888-1930, but John is not enumerated with them. Short of going to the Natl Archives & asking them, I have exhausted every means I can to find out more about him, so now I'm asking you in the Turnipseed community if any of you know anything at all about a John Morgan Turnipseed. (I don't know how old he was at the time of his death. I have seen an entry for him on findagrave but it also lists no date of birth for him). All of us are believed to descend from the three Turnipseed brothers who emigrated to America from Switzerland so we are all family one way or another. Until I ran across this research on footnote, I never knew we had anyone who had served at Pearl Harbor & I just want to make sure these two men who served our country are not forgotten.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me in figuring out this mystery.
