Hi, Mary, me again. Yes, the Franklin you are referring to did move to Daviess County, Missouri in the spring of 1856 and died just before the 1860 census and was buried in Hill Cemetery (where his siblings were later buried). He did have three children before he died. I know these Turneys aren't your's, but I am writing this just in case some of the Tournier/Tournear/Tourney researchers come looking on this board.
Who are the Tourney/Culp researchers you are referring to? I wasn't around when this message was written.
I also thought you would be happy to know that the majority of Jean Baptiste Tournier's (John B. Tourney) descendants go by the name Tournear and shouldn't clutter up your list when looking for Turneys.
