All my life, from age 15 until now, I've seen records and have been shown where John B. Turner, son of John Turner and Mary Ann Johnston, married Sarah Barton, who was born ca. 1807 in Jones Co., NC. Now I have to put up with 'South44@hughes.net who now says this woman was not Sarah Barton, and that she was either Sarah Barrington or Sarah Barnes. If South44@hughes.net is not sure what her ancestor's name is, why is she trying to destroy our Biblical records and change our family history. If she wants so badly to be a part of our family history for whatever reason,we will welcome her as long as she can give us proof she belongs to us. Don't mess with this branch of the Turner family; you will not like the outcome as long as you all try to change the boundaries. There is so much, going back to Ireland, in the history which simply explains the stubbornness and hardheadedness of the predecessors of the persons I am talking about today.
