Hi, Linda:

I wonder if he is kin to the following, who was born and died in the same areas:

John "Little John" Turner, born 9 Aug. 1813, Spartanburg Dist., SC... Died 6 June 1885, Dawson Co., GA.

He was a son of Elias and Sarah Ann (Price) Turner, of Spartanburg Dist., SC.

He married Annie Irene Goss.

Apparently he was a brother to Terissa Turner of Dawson Co., who married Martin Lowman.

Although I do not find a connection to our Turners of Habersham/White/Lumpkin/Dawson County areas, both these John Turners of Dawson Co. could be our kin, MAYBE, just because of coming from upper and western SC to N. E. GA, as our Turners did.
