Actually this is response to several of your inquiries. Bertha Nichols was a niece of Alice. All the Turnells buried at Placid are related.

The Grimsleys in Iowa are not the same Grimsleys in Miss. unless they are distant.

The McCLUSKEY family and the McCLESKEY family are not the same; they may be distantly related but I haven't connected them except for living in the same area of SC in 1790 and some similar areas of Tex. Joseph McCluskey and James McCleskey both participated in some of the same battles of the American Revolution, and may have been cousins.

How are you related? I have quite a lot of info on the McCLUSKEYS. My grandmother was the daughter of Orlando McCluskey, brother to Rev. George McCluskey.

I can help you with other burials at Placid that are also family.
