What information do you need? I have a lot of information on his ancestors, but not about him. I have his father as Robert Benjamin Turnbull (1849-1927) and his mother as Martha Elizabeth Mallory (1851-1910). Robert B. was the Sheriff of Brunswick County for many years and died shortly after his retirement due to ill health. His son, Charles Turnbull became sheriff in his stead, also for many years. Willie Lette(vs. Lett?) had 2 brothers and four sisters (an 8th child died in infancy).
Willie Lette Turnbull's grandfather, Charles Turnbull and my gggrandfather, Edward Randolph Turnbull were brothers.
I have no information on any descendants of Willie Lette and his siblings, but there probably are some.
Also, I do not find the name Lette (or Lett)in any of my family database.
As for his mother being Pattie, I have nothing, but Willie Lette did have a sister, Pattie Prince Turnbull.
Let me know if this helps.
