Agnes Turnbull b.c.1730 (Sprouston) Roxburgh, Scotland

hi Folks, just thought I'd record my one and only Turnbull forebear to date in the hope that someone here recognises her. Until i find her parents, I'll not be able to build her tree and being a direct forebear of mine, I'd really like to get a grasp on her forebears.

Agnes TURNBULL [also spelt TURNBLE] was born c.1730, possibly in or around Sprouston in Roxburgh on the Scottish Borders

She married James HALLIWELL, also spelt Halwall & Hallwall,
5 February 1747/48 [ie: the register said Feb 1747 but the calendar correction makes it 1848]

Between 1848 & 1869, they produced 9 kids [that i have found to date] John, Marrion, Margaret, Isobel [my forebear], James, Janet, Mark, Agness & Christian. All the children were christened in Sprouston and i have hard copies of them all. I believe their dad, James Halliwell was also born in Sprouston but he too is missing parents :-(

Thanks for your time.
