I am new to this site. I have read postings about Alfred Turnbull, married to Martha Walker. They are my grgrgrgrandparents. One of their children is listed as living but she is not. Her name was Vergie Mary Turnbull. She was the mother of my grandmother: born Lillian Betty Jackson. Vergie passed away back in the 1960's. My grandmother knows the date. We are trying to find a birth certificate for Vergie that shows Martha as her mother. Any information would be helpful. Maybe Vergie was only a nickname. My email is lori_d_white@yahoo.com
