Dornbach was the last name given by the immigration records but does not appear to be the correct German spelling for Christoffel's last name. John Turnpaugh/Turnbaugh was his son who lived in Harford County, MD before relocating to Ohio. John's father has been referred to ONLY as Christopher/Christoffel in the American records and by no other name to the best of my knowledge. William received the Adams County, PA property in the will but did not always reside there. He owned property in Maryland, in Baltimore and Frederick Counties. Christopher died in Baltimore County but your assumption that John died here is false. What sources do you have for your information?
