My father's name was Marshall Earl Turley. His parents' names were William and Anna. They had ten children, among them, Ruth, Mary, Patty, Comer and Marshall.
Comer's children still live in Georgia, and I visited them this summer - 2009.
I live in California and have heard of Larry and Helen Turley who are famous wine makers out here. In a book about wine, I found that Larry also hails from Georgia.
When I first moved to California, I was the only Turley in the telephone book in Los Angeles. That is no longer the case, but it goes to show that it is a fairly unusual name.
Does anyone have any information linking the families of Helen and Larry Turley to Marshall and Comer Turley?
