Agnes Kirby Turley lived until 1832 and was the mother of all James Turleys children. Sarah Hoblit was born in 1786; she was married to Thomas Lucas and had nine children with him before he died in 1831. Thomas and Agnes died within about a year of each other. Both families were members of the Lake Fork Predestinaarian Baptists congregation in Logan County, Illinois founded in 1827 and all four,including Agnes, were members. In a small congrgation like this with both their spouses dying within about a year it is fitting that Sarah and James would marry. The date I have is Sep. 9 1834 for the wedding.
