Judie: had it all set to go to your e-mail and somehow lost it. So will do it this way for now.
On page 234 in The Turley Family Record Book I found the following:
Albert S. Turley b Jan 1879 m 19 July 1899 to Nannie Jones b
1883 in Floyd Co Va, daughter of George W & Martha Jones
Albert's parents were Thomas Turley and Martha Gregory Turley. he b 1827,a twin;he died June 1909 buried at Bethaney Cemetery Bland,Va. he was later exhumed and is buried with his first wife Nannie Jones.
She d 1859. They had four children
Then in 1860 he m 12 April 1860 Mary Bales Daughter of William K and Mariah Bales. The had 11 younguns'.But she raised his first 4 with Nannie.
Will list kids if requested. Now according to the book William K's father was Robert ? Do you want me to pursue that ? you didn mention Robert or the William K above. I'm certain this is the right family and yours because of Albert and data. let me know if this helped, I am going to check the Jones and other surnames connected to these people. Sally
