Hello, I am Willam Stebbins, and my mother's maiden name was Larrick for which my ggg Caleb Larrick married an Elizabeth Turley in Apr. 2, 1807 in Rockingham Co., Va. Elizabeth Turley was born in 1787 in Loudon Co., Va., d. d. June 5, 1829 in miscarriage, Highland Co., Oh Caleb b.1780 d. 1849. buried in Highland County Oh. Caleb Larrick was fined for missing musters twice in 1815 and 1816 with the 58th Reg., Rockingham Militia, 1st Bat.
Since reading the messages about the Turleys in Virigina I am now wondering if Elizabeth Turley is the sister of Allen Turley b. 29 june 1788 d. after 1850 and married Hanna Crabtree m1810 and who's possible father and the father of Allen Turely who was mentioned b. about 1740 as listed in the 'Turley Family
Record book printed 1981. Also, if this is true her nepthew is Thomas that married Mary Bales (which was a second mariage for him)and James William is her great nephew.
