I will copy and send you what i have and the funny thing is you stated that your great grandfather was
William henry Johnson.I have an uncle that was named
john William Henry Jonson.We all called him uncle J.W.
I too have not been able to find out any information other then what I wrote to you in my earlier e-mail about my grandfather who was William Sydney Johnson. I have figured that the john in uncle J.W's name came from her father john Butler Harrison Turkett and my great grandfather was married twice first to Alice Eveline (Eargle) Turkett. My Aunt Mary did say that she thought that they spent some time living somewhere in spartenburg,S.C.area, But where and when I don't have that information .Look for a e-mail with a picture attachment.I will try to make it as small as i can,but still might take some time to down load.
