Brian:

We have about 120 entries in the TURK Surname Society database for Westmoreland Co., PA. The notes for one of these entries (Franc Turk) states that he entered the US aboard the S.S. Main from Bremen through Baltimore 25 May 1905 with a destination of Export, PA to meet his brother John. He was listed as from Teplice, Kranjska, Slovenija. As a point of information many from this part of the world are interchangeably listed as from Trieste, Italy.

If you will supply me with what you know of your TURACKs (full names and dates and places of birth, marriage and death) I will see if I can achieve a match.

Use my email address: trturk@earthlink.net.

Toni
