Toni Turk,

My name is Brian Turack, and I just came across the Turk Surname Society. I am very interested in finding more of my families heritage, as I don't know anything past my great grandfather. In doing some surname searches online I found that "Turack" may be a variation of the name Turk. My great grandfather is said to have came into New York sometime around 1901, from Trieste, Italy. He originally lived in Croatia. From New York he made it to Export, Pennsylvania, where we still live on the family farm today.

I am trying to learn more about his father and whether or not he had any brothers or sisters. Is this something that can even be achieved or am I hoping for too much?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Brian
