The TURK Surname Society has completed the extraction of eight variations of the surname from all US Federal Censuses (1790-1930). The variations are: TERK, TIRK, TUERK, TURCK, TUREK, TURK, TURKE, TURKS. These extractions are embedded in an integrated database that also includes extractions of all with these surname variations in the Social Security Death Index. Additionally, the database draws upon numerous other records - all of which are documented in the notes. The entire database plus notes are posted on line. Improvements are solicited!!!
