I find the following items in my papers that appear to relate to your Robert and his family.
1. Montgomery County MO Marrriages 1864 - 1873.Robt G Turk & Susan V Bishop m. 30 Nov 1864, groom of Callaway Co. MO. page 5, record 24.This is from an index that says " The county seat of Montgomery Co. MO was located at Danville, MO during the period this document was being recorded. The whole town of Danville was set afire in Oct 1864 destroying the court house and the place the county records were kept at that time."
2. From the above index.Albrine M Turk & Miss Mary V Turk m 22 Oct 1865 at Montgomery City MO.page 13 record 63.I believe Mary is a sister to your Robert, see the next item.
3. From an unknown compiler. Children of Samuel Turk who were raised by Archibald Turk.Robert, Sally, Rebecca and Mary.
Robert Turk lived in Jasper City MO where he was a blacksmith. He married Rebecca [Jenie] Bishop and raised a lare family.Robert died in 1903.Their children were:
Molly, William, John, Charles, Martha [Mattie], Eppsie, Lottie, George, Beulah, Beverley, and 2 infants that died young.
It is my belief that your Robert is the son of Samuel probably a brother to Archibald and William sons of Thomas & Anne (Rhea) Turk.
There is a Robert Turk who aquired land in MO on 9/15/1854 listed on the BLM site. This may be the Robert who died in Wellsville, MO and I believe is the uncle of Archibald and Thomas. This Robert was married twice.
