I have come across Almonson's name previously but do not know how he fits into the Tupper family. Harvey (my GGG grandfather), was the son of Simeon Tupper II. He was one of 10 children and was born in Vermont in 1800. The family moved to St. Lawrence Co, NY in 1812, where the family stayed until 1834. The family then moved to Summit Co, Ohio and stayed there until 1846, when they moved to Sheboygan Co, Wisconsin (land patents). Harvey and his family all moved to Wisconsin, along with his brothers Thomas, Ebenezer Capen, and Union Heath. As far as I can tell, only one of Harvey's brothers stayed in Ohio, perhaps some of his sisters. Harvey's children were Oramel Ebenezer, Nathan Willis, Ansel, Charles Perry, Henry Newton, Sara Dana and Marcus/Marquis (whom I descend from). Many of the children went by their middle name, which seems to be a trait many of the Tuppers followed. I suspect Almonson is related, but I'm not sure how. All of the information on the various moves that the family took were from Harvey's obituary in 1883.
