This is what I found in the Tupper Genealogy by Eleanor Tupper. Willis Harvey Tupper, b. 16 Aug 1869, at Lyndon, WI; d. 1936. On 1 Jan 1893 at Jennings, LA., m. Mary Everesta Gooch, who was b. 1 Jan 1875. She was dau. Of John Toland and Annie (Hamilton) Gooch. Willis was planter and merchant and resided at Elton, LA. Parents: Henry Newton Tupper, known as “Newton” , b. 6 March 1837 at Boston, Ohio. Died 1 Nov. 1907 at Elton, LA. On 16 Feb 1862 at Plymouth, WI, m. Angelina M. Fritts who was b. 21 Apr 1845 in Cayuga City, NY. And d. 6(8) June 1907 either at Elton or China, LA. She was dau. Of Robert and Amy (Bowen) Fritts, of Plymouth, WI. Children: 1. Charles Henry, b. 13 June 1865 2. Ansel Perry, b. 21 July 1867 3. Willis Harvey, b. 15 Aug. 1869 4. Ulysses Clarence, b. 6 Oct. 1871 5. Erwin Robert, b. 23 Feb 1873 6. Was fife major in the regiment of Continental Troops commanded by his uncle, Col. Benjamin Tupper.
