I believe Henry Newton was the son of Harvey Tupper. I descend from the youngest son of Harvey and Johanna, Marcus D. Tupper, born 1845 in Boston, Ohio. My records indicate Henry left WI in 1876 and moved to Louisiana. I have a copy of Harvey's obituary, which states that Henry and his wife took Johanna with them to Louisiana, but she died somewhere along the way. I'm not sure why the old couple split up. Do you have any records of this? I have never been able to find any information on Johanna, Henry's mother. I have her last name listed as Willis, and her father's name was John Flavel Willis. Would love to exchange information.
