From the Victoria County History Series, The History of Lancaster, Volume 8, I have been able to trace this line back to William and his son Thomas de Tunstall both living in 1202. Can you share with everyone reading these posts the ancestors of this William, father of Thomas de Tunstall who likely married to Maud, daughter of Akaris de Austwick? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be very grateful if you did.
