So, the data in ancestry`s data base is in-correct about Marshall being her father ? I just noticed (!! )that he is listed in their info as having died the year before she was born ! Of course that date could be wrong as well.
Tell me more about which set of parents you are now convinced are Jane`s ?? I will adjust my ancestry accordingly.
Yes I am a descendant of Jane. I am her GGGGG-Grandson.

Everything that I find says that Jane Tunstall (wife of Roger Quarles) was the daughter of Richard Tunstall and Mary Savage. I just recently borrowed, via interlibrary loan, the book "The First Tunstall's in Virginia." This book leads me to believe that if Jane belongs to the Richard Tunstall family, she would not be the daughter of Richard and Mary but their granddaughter and her parents may have been Richard and Ann Leonard Tunstall or Edmund and Catherine Long Tunstall.
