William Tunstall and Boardwine/Bordwine Waters

I have recently found records in the Pittsylvania Co. VA courthouse of law suits in which my ancestor Boardwine/Bordwine Waters was a defendant. All were suits for nonpayment of debts and in one William Tunstall was a co-defendant. All were between 1770 and 1774 and in all cases judgment was entered for the plaintiffs after the defendants failed to appear. B. Waters moved to SC sometime in the earlay 1770s. He was killed by Tories in 1781. Do any Tunstall researchers have any additional information concerning B. Waters and his association with William Tunstall? The Waters were originally from Price William Co VA and these judgments and one entry of a list of tithables are the only evidence I have of Boardwine Waters between his youth in Prince William and his arrival in SC. I'd appreciate any additional information any one may have.
