Thank you again Martin for the additional information on the further descent of Sir Brian Tunstall, through his oldest son, Marmaduke. I have also seen most of this pedigree elsewhere - with a few minor differences. One surce is "History of Richmondshire in the North Riding of the County of York," Volume II, by Thomas Dunham Whitaker, which I found in the Guildhall Library, Aldermanbury, London, EC2P 2EJ. Every source that I have ever seen traces this line from Sir Brian Tunstall through his oldest son. I have seen several, but they all have minor disagreements. I was hoping you might have found information on the further descent of the youngest son, Brian; or of the daughter, Anne. I suppose that is just too much to expect. The old chroniclers always concentrated on the oldest sons, didn' they? Anyway, thanks again for your help. Oh, and if you should wish to contact me via direct email, the address is "pemoran@pdq.net". Thanks again for your help. Notify Administrator about this message?
